Scott and Alex’s Oxwich Bay Hotel wedding venue South Wales
Scott and Alex were married at the Oxwich Bay Hotel wedding venue on the Gower Peninsula, South Wales.
Alex started the day by gathering his family and friends on the beach for an early morning paddleboard session. I know this isn’t a traditional wedding day activity but when they told me their plans I thought it was important to capture these photos. There is a lovely moment when Alex is laying on the back of a board with their dog Riley who was nervous as it was his first time in the sea.
Scott arrived mid-morning at the hotel and got ready with his friends in the wedding suite, while Alex got ready with his family elsewhere in the hotel. The ceremony was very emotional and the rest of the day felt relaxed as Scott and Alex celebrated with a really lovely bunch of people. Riley joined us again later in the day for a walk on Oxwich Bay beach as the sunset and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect moment. The night was filled with dancing mayhem, just the way I like it, check out the guest’s dancing gifs further down the page. when the dancing is this good sometimes one frame just isn’t enough.
