Morning bridal preparations
Ffion and Matthew were married at Oldwalls Gower, a beautiful venue placed in the heart of the beautiful Welsh countryside.
Ffion prepared with her family and bridesmaids at Maes Yr Haf, one of the Oldwalls Collection’s accommodation properties. It was my first time there and everywhere I looked there were interesting colours and backgrounds to get creative with.
An outdoor Oldwalls Gower ceremony
The ceremony was held in Oldwalls’ new outdoor area. Ffion’s mum looked on proudly as her brother walked her from the car then up the aisle. You should know by now that I try to capture every moment of the day and that includes when Ffion nearly inhaled a handful of confetti, these are the real moments that will bring back memories of the day just as much as the family photos.
Planning extra time
While guests were tucking into their canapes we went off for a quick stroll and took some photographs, because the weather forecast was so good I had suggested we pop back out later in the evening as the sun was setting. This also gave them more time with their guests before everyone was seated for food. I highly recommend giving yourself little extra pockets of time when planning your day because sometimes things can run a little early or late and because sometimes it’s just nice to have extra time to yourselves or to actually have a whole glass of something and a conversation with guests.
That special sunset
The weather came good as promised and the sunset over Cefn Bryn was a total relaxation moment to recharge and be ready for the party to come.
