The perfect country hotel in Gower for a natural relaxed wedding.
Ben and Sam’s wedding was at The King Arthur Hotel in Reynoldston, Gower. They booked me for my style of natural wedding photography. The bridal party prepared in the hotel’s cottages and it was a very relaxed, fun morning with hair duties performed by best friend and bridesmaid Olivia and make up by Laura Jayne James while Sam’s sister made the beautiful bouquets.
I love fairy lights at a wedding, they can create a soft glow and beautiful patterns in picture backgrounds and they give a room depth, so I’m always excited when I see Enchanted Decor’s fairy light curtain hanging up at the back of a King Arthur Hotel ceremony, take a look at the images below and you’ll see what I mean. By the way, at this point, the Best Man seemed familiar.
For their post-ceremony wedding photographs, Ben and Sam chose to go to Llangennith beach, an iconic Gower backdrop. We also nipped out to grab a cheeky sunset just before speeches started.
The evening began with lots of dancing which is always amazing for natural wedding photography. Then it turned out that the reason the Best Man seemed familiar was that I had met him once before at a wedding I had shot out in Italy (see it here) he was a guest who happened to be a magician, now he was Best Man and an amazing magician. Growing up he and Ben the Groom performed magic together. Ash now spends most of his time performing in Dubai.
We ended the night with a sparkle….and much more dancing.
