Planning your wedding at the King Arthur Hotel
The King Arthur Hotel is set in the heart of the Gower, it’s surrounded by beautiful countryside and is close to many beaches.
If you’re thinking of getting ready at the venue they have a large variety of accommodation with a bridal suite and Gwynevere’s cottage right next to ‘Avalon’ the ceremony and the reception room. They also have hotel rooms and four spacious, dog-friendly self-catering cottage apartments.
The wedding itself is held in ‘Avalon’ a beautiful oak-beamed room that can be decorated however you wish, but fairy lights look amazing in there. You can see how the room can look in the blog posts below.
The courtyard and gardens are used as outdoor reception areas and the lawn is great for setting up garden games. There are a variety of locations great for photographs, including the gardens and pond, and my favourite, the wild meadow.
The venue is a minute’s drive from the top of Cefn Bryn which has panoramic views around the Gower. It’s perfect for natural, relaxed wedding photos during the day or evening if you’re lucky enough to get a sunset. The most accessible beach is Llangennith which is about a 10-minute drive.
