KING ARTHUR HOTEL WEDDINGS
wedding photography
Getting married at the King Arthur Hotel, Gower.
I’ve photographed lots of weddings here, it’s a traditional old country pub and hotel in the heart of Gower with a hidden secret, it contains a beautiful oak-beamed reception room and is surrounded by gardens and a wild meadow. Perfect for a relaxed, rustic wedding close to Swansea. The food is outstanding, the staff are friendly and helpful, and they have lots of accommodation for you and your guests. Some of the most beautiful locations for wedding photography in Gower are right on their doorstep.
Here’s where you’ll find them:
Higher Green, Reynoldston, Gower. SA3 1AD

What time should I get married?
Consider an early ceremony between 12pm and 1pm. In the winter this means you will make the most of available daylight and in the summer you could plan a larger time slot between your wedding meal and evening party, so everyone can enjoy the grounds, maybe book a musician to play outside and create a festival vibe.
Where should we have our wedding photos?
In the winter months when the days are shorter, the light can be amazing during the late afternoon. Consider giving yourself time to make the most of it before your wedding meal. The gardens are perfect for natural, relaxed wedding photography they have also filled a giant willow tree with fairy lights, which looks AMAZING!! And of course Cefn Bryn is a popular photo location, just up the road from the King Arthur Hotel. You can see the sun set over Gower and even see the local wild ponies.
