Gower summer sunsets and a wedding at the King Arthur Hotel
Katie and Dan’s South Wales summer Gower wedding was held at St George’s Church a quick stroll from their wedding reception venue The King Arthur Hotel. The bridal party had rented a beautiful cottage in the same village, which was fantastic for wedding photography because it was so open and light (thanks for that x). It was a lovely relaxed morning with family members coming and going and lots of laughs along the way. There was one minor dress malfunction when a button popped off but I’ve always got a travel sewing kit in my bag just in case and it was fixed in no time.
Dan and his grooms-men got ready in one of The King Arthur Hotel’s Gower cottages two minutes up the road. It was such a warm sunny day everyone walked to church and after the ceremony, we all walked up the hill to the reception with Katie and Dan leading the way.
We had already discussed photography locations at prior meetings and Katie and Dan chose the top of Cefn Bryn as it was close by and has amazing views over the Gower. BUT I had also scouted out another spot nearby which was saved for later, as it was the perfect sunset location.
