Gower rock climbing engagement photoshoot
Sam and Eleri were married at The King Arthur Hotel Gower. And this was what we got up to a few weeks before.
We met a year earlier and they expressed their nervousness about wedding photos. They decided to have an engagement shoot as a little practice run, I knew they loved to climb, so I suggested we use this as a way of making them comfortable. It took a few weeks to plan because we needed good weather and a low tide at the spot Sam had suggested at Rhossili on the Gower Peninsula. I was slightly speechless when we arrived at a very high, overhanging cliff! this particular route is classed as very, very difficult.
After the climb (my feet stayed firmly rooted to the ground) we walked back to the pub and chatted about their wedding day plans while we waited for the sun to set. Cue, the most amazing sunset. There was a moment when the three of us just stopped and stared at it.
They are such a brilliant confident team already, marriage should be a doddle.
