Gellifawr Woodland Retreat wedding photography
Sian and Josh’s beautiful Gellifawr Woodland Retreat wedding was my first time at this stunning West Wales venue which just won best in their region in the Welsh National Wedding Awards 2019.
Sian and her bridal party got ready in Gellifawr’s cottages while Josh and his groomsmen got ready in one of the hotel rooms.
Meanwhile downstairs in the ceremony room Naomi and her team from The Wedding Business (who also just won the South Wales region AND National Award at the Welsh National Wedding Awards 2019) decorated the room in the most spectacular way.
After an emotional ceremony and some formal photographs we spent about 10 minutes shooting Sian and Josh’s portraits, they didn’t want to be away from friends and family for long and because we had a very good weather forecast I had planned to grab them later for a beautiful West Wales sunset.
There was some very cool entertainment through the day from the legendary magician Luke Jugglestruck (who ALSO won an award at the Welsh National Wedding Awards 2019 !!) and music by Godfrey Gayle an incredible Stevie Wonder Tribute act and the Soul Strutters
We finally got our sunset, so I grabbed Sian and Josh and we went for a short stroll to a meadow field nearby that I had found earlier. Perfect for a quiet few moments and some fresh air before the party started.
