Coral and Tom Yorkshire woodland wedding
Coral and Tom’s big day was not traditional, it was not standard, it was not normal….everything but. It was one big massive day of fun.
When your dad’s a musician in a band, your step-dad is a bit of an amazing magician and you decide to hold your wedding in the middle of a wood, lit only by metres and metres…….and metres of fairlights, you have a cocktail bar and all your family and friends, you know it’s going to be nothing short of the BEST DAY EVER !!
I travelled up to Yorkshire the day before and headed straight to the venue site. After having a little look around I caught a few moments of Coral, Tom, friends and family putting up the decorations. Coral and I bounced various pinterest based woodland fairylight ideas off each other for months so I had some idea of what they were going for, but I had no idea how it was going to come together.
The ceremony was held at Whitby Registry Office and formal groups were shot on the seafront, then while everyone headed off to the venue, Coral, Tom and I took a walk along the pier and through the town, stopping off at the amusement arcades.
