Scott and Alex’s amazing Oxwich Bay Hotel beach weddings venue South Wales | Scott and Alex were married at the Oxwich Bay Hotel wedding venue on the Gower Peninsula, South Wales.
Alex started the day by gathering his family and friends on the beach for an early morning paddleboard session. I know this isn’t a traditional wedding day activity but when they told me their plans I thought it was important to capture these photos.

But I’ll elaborate a little more. Emily and Byron first saw me at their friend’s South Wales wedding back in 2016 and a lot of the same guests were at that wedding,
Jenna and John Oxwich Bay Hotel wedding | I laughed so hard at this wedding, the perfect wedding by the beach. That just about sums it up. It was bright, colourful, hilarious, emotional and I got to spend the day with a lovely bunch of people and some slightly cheeky Irish aunties.

It was a small wedding and a shorter day than I am used to, but no less fun-packed. Tanya got ready with her daughters at the family home in Swansea. I met Ben at The Oxwich Bay Hotel ready for Tanya’s arrival, they were already technically married at this point and had called on a friend to give a blessing, it was a relaxed and heartfelt ceremony with both bride and groom reading vows to each other.
