HI THERE, I’M MARTIN

Finding the perfect wedding photographer for you.
I’d love to chat and get to know you a little. The type of photography I shoot is very natural and relaxed, so is this what you want? I look for candid storytelling images all day long. I do shoot couple portraits but not in the traditional sense. This time is set aside for you to be together, relaxed and comfortable. I won’t be barking orders or telling you where to look. The whole point of the experience is for you to feel comfortable, while I’m there with you, so you can focus on each other after just becoming an excited, loving married couple.
I’ll photograph whatever happens in those moments because they’re the best memories to have.
A few things about me though.
I’ll help you as much as I can in the build-up to your wedding day, I can help you find the perfect suppliers for you, suggest timings, even suggest ideas that can work with our lovely Welsh weather. On the day itself, I’ll be there in the morning chatting with everyone so they get used to me being around. I’ll keep an eye on the timings. I’ll try to keep you calm and give you space if you need it, while capturing those special moments. Then for the rest of the day I’ll be everywhere, but you won’t notice until you need me. When the night comes I’ll be there shooting all the dance floor mayhem, documenting some epic and sometimes questionable moves.
Last bit about me.
OK so here’s some other stuff about me. I consider myself an honorary Welshman. One of my Grandfathers was from the Swansea Valley, which I only found out when I came here for college. I was brought up with rugby at my high school in the town of Rugby but didn’t really enjoy the game until I moved to Wales and photographed my first World Cup International in Cardiff many years later.
I met my beautiful wife here in Wales even though she’s from Surrey and I’m proud to say that my two kids are Welsh. We all love the beach, especially our little Cavachon Luna who brings home a new bit of driftwood most days from her walks. We all love paddle boarding and I have a passion for surfing. If you follow me on Instagram you may see my gopro surf adventures sometime.
